Niwaki Tokusen Secateurs 165mm - Exquisitely finished, the Niwaki Tokusen Secateurs 165mm fit beautifully in the palm of the hand. Although not as substantial as their full-sized siblings, they’re perfect for light garden pruning, deadheading and cut flowers. Not just for small hands either - the hand forged blade, solid build and ergonomics more than make up for their diminutive size. Leather catch at the bottom. Comes wrapped in hand-dyed, forget-me-not blue tenugui cloth, in a Paulownia box. Also available as one third of the Tokusen Set.

Care Instructions

To prevent rust from developing, we advise that you wipe dry and apply Camellia Oil after use.

Sharpening after a period of use is advised to ensure your tools stay in good condition.
We recommend using the Niwaki Sharpening Stone #1000 as it’s best for general sharpening.

Tips:
• Do not cut wire, metal, stone, plastic or any other hard material.
• Use the base of the blades, not the tips, for heavier cuts.
• Remove leaf resin, rust and gunk with a Crean Mate and water.
• Dry, wipe over with Camellia Oil and store in a dry place.
• Sharpen Secateurs every couple of weeks.

Important Update for SA, NSW, ACT & QLD Customers

Due to updated Government biosecurity requirements, all orders containing potted plants must now undergo treatment and inspection for Tomato Potato Psyllid (TPP) prior to dispatch.

As this process has recently been introduced, some orders may experience slightly longer processing times while these procedures are implemented and streamlined during early 2026.

We kindly ask customers in the affected states to allow additional time for dispatch. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

QLD Orders

To meet treatment and inspection scheduling, orders must be placed by 12pm Friday to be shipped the following Tuesday. Orders received after this time will be dispatched the subsequent week.

A $5.00 quarantine inspection surcharge applies to orders delivered to QLD to cover the additional inspection and compliance requirements.
